We are not sure quite how old Holly Tree Cottage is, but we think it has origins in the 16th century or even earlier, with greater additions during many other periods. It is full of nooks and crannies, is very up and down and higgledy piggledy, and not quite what you would expect. Lovely gardens surround the house, where you are welcome to sit and have a drink during those long summer evenings. Breakfast is served in our beautiful dining room. We serve locally sourced bacon, sausages and free range eggs. We also offer a choice of cereals, orange juice and usually our home made bread toast. We also have a conservatory available for guests use, with tv/dvd/radio for cosy summer evenings.We have plenty of safe secure floodlit parking for your vehicles. Although on a main road we are fully double glazed, and perfectly set for visiting all the surrounding attractions, such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Minsmere, Dunwich etc. There are also many pubs within a mile or two that serve fantastic food and good beers/wines. Please note: we do not accept credit/debit cards, payment by cash or cheque only.
