The Chestnuts is situated in a convenient location in the picturesque town of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and a short walk to the town centre with theatre, shops, restaurants and pubs. There is free car parking available at The Chestnuts but for those travellers using public transport, Shanklin railway station (with links to Ryde Pierhead and Portsmouth Harbour) is only 5 minutes walk away. There is also a very good bus service on the island with links to Cowes and Southampton. The Chestnuts offers 9 en-suite rooms, in a relaxed atmosphere with a comfortable dining room, lounge and licensed bar. The hotel has a clean, fresh contemporary look and feel with a decked seating area at the front, plus an enclosed garden at the rear for guest use. We serve a full English breakfast including cereals, yoghurts and fruit. Evening meals are also available. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements catered for by prior arrangement. Wi-Fi is available.

From Shanklin Railway station, proceed down Atherley Road to traffic lights, cross over heading towards sea and we are first property on left in Hope Road. Approx. 4 minutes walk from station and beach. From Shanklin Old Village head towards Sandown and take turning right at traffic lights signposted to the Beach and Esplanade. This is Hope Road and we are first property on the left with our own car park in front.
