Medehamsted Hotel is a family owned hotel, with a friendly atmosphere on the Isle of Wight. Our hotel is situated in attractive gardens. Close by is the cliff lift giving easy access to the esplanade and beach, the town of Shanklin and the famous Old Village.....all of which are within easy walking distance. Alongside the hotel we have a spacious private coach and car park - and it 's free! The dining room is spacious, light and airy, and has a good reputation for its food. The menu is varied and generous and we provide a choice of vegetarian dishes or special diets if requested. The Medehamstede Hotel has 52 bedrooms, all en-suite.
