Nestled in a peaceful, beautiful village, this row of former Railway cottages has been lovingly restored with well appointed rooms. There is a large bar and restaurant offering a wide range of home cooked pub favourites complimented by a daily specials list offering some more gourmet choices including world foods homemade by our chefs. All our ales are brewed at the McMullen 's Brewery, a traditional English brewery operating out of the neighbouring town of Hertford since 1827. We also stock a wide selection of fine wines, single malt whiskies and refreshing gins, and a whole range of soft drinks. All rooms include an en-suite with a bath & shower, tea & coffee making facilities and a full English Breakfast is included in the price. Relaxing and colourful gardens, including a separate children 's play area. Just a five minute walk from the train station with excellent links to Hertford and London.
