Croft Gate nestles in the pretty and tranquil valley of Chapel le Dale, between majestic Whernside and the imposing peak of Ingleborough. Secret pot holes and caves, rare flora and dramatic limestone scenery are just some of the delights to be found from the door step of Croft Gate. Our quaint little Chapel of the Fells provides a peaceful resting place for those who lost their lives building the nearby Victorian wonder of Ribblehead Viaduct. Croft Gate is a tasteful and luxurious conversion of a dales barn and shippon (cow shed). Beamed ceilings, stone cills and large stone fireplaces with log fires all add to the character of this cosy, warm and comfortable retreat. A warm welcome and the height of comfort await our guests.

Location By Car from the A65 On arriving at Ingleton take the road into the village and follow signs for the B6255 signposted Hawes and White Scar Caves. After approx 4 miles turn left at sign for Chapel le Dale church. Drive over the little bridge. You will see the Chapel of the Fells on your right. Continue straight ahead and Croft Gate is the third cottage on your left By Car From the M6 Leave the motorway at junction 36 and follow the A65 (signposted Skipton) until you reach the village of Ingleton. ( Approx 11 miles). On arriving at Ingleton take the road into the village and follow signs for the B6255 signposted Hawes and White Scar Caves. After approx 4 miles turn left at sign for Chapel le Dale church. Drive over the little bridge. You will see the Chapel of the Fells on your right. Continue straight ahead and Croft Gate is the third cottage on your left. By Train Our local station is Ribblehead, on the Settle to Carlisle line.
