Leek is a traditional Market Town and still has a busy weekly market every Wednesday and a monthly Totally Local Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. it has a vast array of distinctive independent retailers, historic churches and hostelries. There are numerous antique shops and Leek was the home of Victorian designer William Morris. The Fountain Inn offers a well stocked bar with 10hand pump selling real & ciders from local and national brewers, a comprehensive range of quality wines and a malt whiskey selection. We have 1double en suite bedroom & 1 twin en suite bedroom, the twin room can be made into a double if required (please state when booking) which have a separate private entrance from the street. Both are available for short or long term stays and offer tea /coffee making facilities, large LCD televisions, ironing facilities, hair dryer, free open WI-FI and are fitted out to a very high standard. Breakfast can be added as optional, when booking or can be confirmed on arrival. The Fountain Inn is situated on the southern edge of the Peak District, within easy reach of the historic town of Buxton, Ashbourne, The Potteries, Alton Towers, Waterworld and the picturesque Roaches popular with rambles and climbers.
