Burnside Lodge

Burnside Lodge is a converted fishing house located in the quiet village of Port Wemyss the large en-suite Trophy Room and the smaller Boathouse rooms with shared facilities all have views of the Rhinns Lighthouse and resident seals. Port Wemyss is located around 40 minutes from the airport and ferry terminals at the quiet end of the island, however the neighbouring village, Portnahaven boasts a good pub and well stocked post office and stores, which are around 10 minutes walk away. Burnside Lodge also operates as an informal coffee shop during the summer months offering good coffee and home made cakes to guests, locals and visitors, in the lounge, garden or to take away. Please note there are no televisions in any of the guest rooms or the lounge, generally people prefer to look at the view!
