This homely hotel sits on the hill top overlooking Tobermory, allowing the most breathtaking views towards the Sound of Mull from the terrace and many of the public rooms The Hotel itself is full of character, and in late September 2008 returned back to private ownership. Its now owned and managed on a day to day level by experienced hoteliers who are slowly returning the hotel to its former glory. Ferry crossings to the Isle of Mull are mainly from OBAN to CRAIGNURE. Other crossings sail from Kilchoan to Tobermory or from Lochaline to Fishnish. All ferry services are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne www.calmac.co.uk. Vehicle bookings are advised for crossings from Oban, particularly during the Summer months. Tobermory lies to the north of the east coast of the Island, approximately a 45 miutes drive from Craignure. The Western Isles has a spectacular location overlooking Tobermory Bay and over to the Sound of Mull
