Opened for play in 1999, the Championship standard Hollins Hall Course layout is the handiwork of Ross McMurray of European Golf Design. It is best described as an appealing blend of two contrasting nines, and has USGA specification summer greens that are open all year round.

The first half of the course is built on a high piece of land, which is open and exposed to the elements and enjoys glorious views over the Aire Valley towards the Yorkshire Dales. It starts with a gentle par 4 but it can be a real test in windy conditions with the particularly memorable downhill par 3 3rd and the par 4 6th.
The back nine is set in the picturesque valley and also has a number of standout holes, such as the par 5 14th where the undulating green stands in the shadow of an enormous Victorian viaduct.
