Cave Castle boasts an excellent 18 hole golf course set in the 150 acres of meadow and parkland which surround the hotel. For the more energetic the Health Club has a well equipped gym, 19m pool and aerobic suite with a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for those wishing to take things easier. Castle Spa offers a wide range of hair and beauty treatment. It is Situated minutes from the M62 and just five minutes from Brough mainline train station this is an ideal venue for conferences, meetings and team building seminars. The parkland golf course was established in 1989 and is an 18holes course.
Course
The course is maturing extremely well and a variety of trees as well as water come into play on a number of holes. The large pond in the middle of the 9th fairway makes you think carefully with your tee shot. The 13th is a long dogleg par 5 which lulls you into a sense of security however beware the out bounds on either side or the strategically placed bunkers before you turn for the green. Through the trees for the 14th requires a straight tee shot and the 'paddock' holes of 15th, 16th and 17th are a steady lead up to the 18th with a right angle turn to a sloping green- beware the out of bounds and the lake!!
