Or enjoy the surroundings of Waterford Castle Golf Clubhouse overlooking the first tee of our 18-hole Championship Golf course. The Club House offers an informal dining menu that caters for all tastes. You will be spoilt for choice with an abundance of activities available on site, including: 18hole Golf Course, Driving Range, Clay Target Shooting, Archery, Tennis, Boules, Island Trails to name but a few! The Hotel offers easy access to many local attractions including: Waterford City, Waterford Crystal, Dunmore East, Ardmore, Limore, Tramore and many spectacular beaches along the Waterford Coastline. Access to the island is by a private car ferry which operates throughout the day. Ferry crossing takes 3minutes. Drive up the beech-lined drive to reach the castle and its 800 years of history. All bookings are subject to a 5.00 Resort & Island fee, this is settled direct to the hotel on departure. Please note when booking The Castle Garden Lodges a per day gas & electricity charge will be applied. January to June and September to December 7.00 per day. July and August 5 per day

Waterford Castle Golf Club & Resort was opended in 1992 The course has 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course, complete with luxurious clubhouse, leads you through mature woodland and parkland. The Club House offers an informal dining menu that caters for all tastes.

On entering Waterford City, turn right, at the train station roundabout, on to bridge over the River Suir. Turn left at next lights on to the City quay, continue down the quay in the left-hand lane, past the Tower Hotel. At the lights immediately after the Tower Hotel turn left on to the Dunmore Road, continue past the park, and bear left at the college. At first mini roundabout turn left, continue through next two roundabouts passing the shopping centre on the right and the hospital on the left. Turn left after pedestrian crossing and continue on this road until you see the ferry crossing to the Island and Waterford Castle Golf Club. Please note that we are accessed by a car ferry which does restrict larger transport vehicles due to tides. please contact reception should you have any further queries. A ferry charge of 5.00 per stay is payable at hotel reception.
