Mount Royal in Penzance is a part Georgian, part Victorian seafront house providing AA assessed 4 Star Gold Guest Accommodation, and free on-site car parking for guests. It has been a Cornish family run business for over 50 years. The elegant period house faces south overlooking the world famous Mount 's Bay with spectacular views of St. Michael 's Mount, 3 miles of beach, the Lizard peninsula and also Penzance harbour. Dolphins are sometimes spotted leaping out of the water directly in front of the premises. The house is also conveniently situated close to the town centre, railway station, bus station and the harbour. Mount Royal offers spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities and elements of luxury, some with bath and some with showers. Premier rooms ( up to 35 square metres in size) with King size double beds, antique and high quality designer furniture, and large bay window seating areas to enjoy the spectacular sea views. In the elegant Victorian dining room enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast served to you at your own table in a traditional way - with polished silver cutlery, silver tea and coffee pots, fine Wedgwood crockery and white linen table-clothes.
