Brook Whipper-In is a charming former Coaching Inn, situated in the old market square of Oakham. The Whipper-In retains many original features, including real log fires, deep armchairs and original oak beams with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Free parking is also offered to guests. The Whipper-In is also close to Stamford and perfectly situated for the Burghley Horse Trials, Bird Fair and Rutland Water. Rooms at the Whipper-In feature en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TV 's and ample working space with complementary WiFi available. The hotel features two restaurants, St Georges restaurant offering modern cuisine from a table d hôte and an a la carte menu. The Market Café is also available for a less formal dining experience. All bedrooms which are situated in buildings around our private courtyard, and have been tastefully and sympathetically redecorated over the last few years. The Whipper-In 's snug Bar has a real fire, offers lighter meals, snacks and room service is available 24 hours a day. The location is idea for a relaxing break, with good road and rail access for direct trains to Leicester, Peterborough and Stansted Airport.
