Whitfield House, a large 1920 's residence, is uniquely located in Ludlow and the lovely Shropshire countryside. Recently renovated, the house has retains many of its original Arts and Crafts features. Set in two acres of garden overlooking Ludlow Castle and Mortimer Forest the house offers an escape to the vast countryside, yet still only a few minutes walk to the centre of medieval Ludlow. Each room is equipped with all the standard comforts you would expect: fluffy white towels, complimentary toiletries and in room drinks facilities TV with freeview and DVD player I pod docking stations and free wi-fi access. Egyptian cotton bedding and Hungarian down pillows and duvets. (Should require hypo-allergenic bedding please advise at the time of booking). Along with use of the main reception rooms, Guests have the exclusive use of the study area which is equipped with wi-fi printer plenty of maps, local history books and tourist information literature. Not to be underestimated (in a very busy market town) the house provides guests with limitless free parking. Cyclists and walkers, are offered use of the secure garage for storage and wash off facilities.
