Laughern Hill is a Grade II listed Georgian country mansion dating from the mid 1700s in the heart of Worcestershire, and is ideally located for the Elgar route, including Elgar 's birthplace museum, days out in the Malverns and Cotswolds, at Cheltenham Races, Ludlow and Worcester, the Shelsley Hill Climb (the oldest race track in the world) or simply exploring the fascinating history of the city of Worcester. Laughern Hill Estate is only 2 hours away from London and less than an hour from Birmingham. Guests at Laughern Hill have the opportunity to use our all-weather tennis court, sun themselves on the Mulberry Terrace or in our private walled garden area. Alternatively unwind on the sun terrace with a glass of champagne, play croquet or watch the sun go down from our hill on the south side of the main lawn. There are also working stables at Laughern Hill and horses can be accommodated by arrangement. After a restful night indulge yourself with our home cooked traditional breakfast in the main dining room, where guests can breakfast in sumptuous elegance round an antique baronial table, under a fabulous cut-glass chandelier.
