Being so close to the Famous Peddars Way, makes Phoenix House a firm favourite with walker, cyclists and horseriders alike. The Peddars Way is the Ancient Roman route from Thetford to the North Norfolk coast and has always been a draw for the more fit amongst us and after a hard 's slog, what better than to sit down to a hot evening meal, served in homely period surroundings. We, at Phoenix House will try to make your stay with us as pleasurable as is possible. Norfolk offers much to see and do throughout one of the most interesting counties in the UK. Norfolk offers an abundance of wildlife, sporting activities and secluded spots to just sit and relax. We have grazing and stabling next to the house for the horse riders among you, with off street parking for your horsebox. Touring caravans welcome for a mid-journey over night break. From Norwich Airport, Take the A47 towards Swaffham. On reaching Swaffham take the A1065 towards Brandon. Turn left after 8kms on to the B1108 towards Watton. After passing Bodney Army camp on your right, turn right on to Great Cressingham Road. This is opposite a sign to the Windmill Pub. After half a km. take the left fork towards The Arms. At the crossroads, turn left by the chapel and Phoenix House is the next house on the left.
