Or if you prefer something lighter during the day, there are plenty of tea rooms/cafes for that lighter snack or afternoon tea. Tattershall, Conningsby, Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre and Horncastle are all just a 10-minute drive from Pitchaway Bed and Breakfast accommodation. You are spoilt for choice of places to visit and Pitchaway Bed and Breakfast is in an ideal location to explore further afield depending on your tastes or interests, from the world famous Cathedral and Castle (housing one of the copies of the Magna Carta (25 minute drive) situated within Lincoln City Centre at the top of Steep Hill which is overflowing with its own unique wealth of culture. Lincoln also has excellent shopping facilities. If that does not take your fancy why not have a drive through the Wolds or take in the sea air along the coast.
