FREE WIFI Our relaxed and friendly family run guest house is perfectly situated on a level position only 5 minutes from the beach, shops and Swanage Steam Railway, we are also within easy reach of the Purbecks and the South West Coast Path and beaches where you will find superb diving, walking, cycling, climbing, and bird watching opportunities. The Guest House is over looking the beautiful parish church of St Mary the Virgin. Less than 40 minutes away by car or train are the historic towns of Wareham, Poole, Dorchester. The guest house has a Comprehensive fire alarm and emergency lighting throughout. The whole house is centrally heated and has thermostatically controlled radiators in each bedroom: Rivendell is a non-smoking guest house. All of our rooms are en suite with either a bath or power shower or combination of both, with flat screen TV with Freeview and well stocked hospitality tray. Our Superior rooms have the added comfort of bath robes, super king or King size beds, DVD Player and situated at the rear of the house. All throughout the house is FREE Wireless internet enabled zone. Selected rooms have a super king size bed offering exceptional comfort. In the refurbishment of the house we have retained the original features retaining all the charm and character of this beautiful Victorian building while at the same time offering modern up to date facilities.
