5 STAR BREAKFAST AWARD WALKERS WELCOME. Opened in 2011 Old Shanklin is modern and comfortable and right in the heart of Shanklin Old Village, in a quiet side road, 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach and coastal walks and seconds from the traditional tea rooms, pubs and great selection of restaurants on offer. Five en suite rooms with Algotherm toiletries and locally made goat 's milk soap. Our breakfast is full of local produce with Full English, as well as a choice of Daily Special and a healthy buffet. We have a comfortable lounge with local art work. Free DVD and book loan and lots of walking and local information.There is parking for 4 of the 5 rooms - see individual room details. Free wi fi. For that Special Occasion we can arrange flowers and chocolates for your room. See our website for more details. The Isle of Wight offers something for everyone especially foodies, walkers, cyclists and history buffs. Whatever your reason for staying with us we hope to make your stay a relaxing one. From Fishbourne and Ryde Coming off of the Fishbourne ferry take a left at the traffic lights and follow the A3054 towards Ryde, which turns into the A3055 at Ryde. Follow directions to Sandown, then once at Sandown follow the signs for Shanklin. It s a very direct route which takes you through the Old Village, then just turn right at the Rock shop. From Yarmouth and the West From the Lymington ferry into Yarmouth turn left following the coast onto the A3054 towards Newport. Then take a right on the A3020 at Newport, following signs for Sandown. Turn right at the traffic lights into the Old Village and right into Grange Road at the Rock Shop. From East Cowes From the East Cowes ferry follow the road signs for Fishbourne and Ryde. At Ryde Follow directions to Sandown, then once at Sandown follow the signs for Shanklin. It s a very direct route which takes you through the Old Village, then just turn right at the Rock shop.
