A beautiful award-winning guesthouse nestling in rolling fields with stunning coastal views of South West Wight to the Needles and the countryside around. Our large rooms are set around a courtyard with illuminated water-garden. Rooms are recently refurbished to luxury standard including HD satellite TV, mini-bar, beverage-making facilities, safe, DAB/FM clock radio/iPhone/iPod dock and free WiFi. All bathrooms are ensuite and equipped with modern bath and shower facilities, hairdryers, soft towels and complimentary toiletries. Many rooms have patios to enjoy the views. Our Deluxe Double room has air-conditioning, blu-ray player, mood lighting, Nespresso machine, bathrobes and slippers. Our two suites are ideal for families. They have a super-king-size bed on the ground floor and two single beds on the first floor with a separate TV/DVD for the kids. For the comfort of all guests, we have a totally no-smoking policy. Fully Licensed to serve alcohol.

We are on the south western coast of the Isle of Wight just outside the village of Chale and a few miles from Ventnor. Our address is Chale Bay Farm, Military Road, Chale, Isle of Wight, PO38 2JF. By Road The M3/M27 are the traditional routes to the Southampton and Portsmouth ferry ports, however the opening of the new A3 tunnel at Hindhead means the A3 is now dual carriageway the whole way from J10 of the M25 into Portsmouth and is likely to be quicker for London-based visitors. Frequent services across the Solent makes travelling to the Isle of Wight very quick and easy. We have put links to the ferry companies on our links page. If travelling by car, set your SatNav for PO38 2JF (or if you do not have postcode search, select Military Road near the junction with Church Place in Chale). In our experience SatNavs generally make a good job in finding us, however if you get diverted down a rough track at any point on your journey we suggest you ignore it and follow the main road until rerouted. It typically takes less than half an hour to reach us from any of the main ports. By Public Transport Buses are provided by Southern Vectis on bus route 6 which runs between Newport and Ventnor. Southern Vectis also provide the Southern Coaster service between March and October that runs right along the south of the Isle of Wight from Ryde to Yarmouth. By Air Sandown Airport seems busier than ever and Bembridge is open again so if you are a private pilot we can arrange pickup on request. We are private pilots ourselves and can offer full flight planning facilities and special deals on weather diversions or if you get weathered in, subject to room availability.
