The nearby historical 11th Century Church and Celtic Cross with its world famous Bleeding Yew Tree in the graveyard. Also the 6th Century Pilgrims Cross and 12th Century Nevern Castle is a must for sightseers as the archaeologists from Durham University have unearthed the Castle Tower and found historical artefacts. The burial grounds at Brynberian are of great interest as is the Iron Age Village reconstruction of the original site at Castell Henllys. There are many country walks, with the recently opened Nevern Historical Walk, a great favourite with ramblers. With a host of other activities such as watersports, horse-riding, golf etc. within 2 miles of The Trewern Arms Inn in North Pembrokeshire, it makes an ideal get-away-from-it-all centre
