The Travel Plaza hotel is conveniently situated between Market Harborough and Desborough on the old A6 overlooking the rolling countryside of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.The hotel with its generously sized rooms, king-sized beds,free internet access and free ample parking provides excellent value for either the business traveller with the main business areas of the local towns only minutes away or tourist enjoying the magnificent countryside and local attractions. There is also a room designed for wheelchair access on the ground floor. The Travel Plaza offers a purpose built meeting room for up to 16 people on a daily basis. Breakfast is not included in our room charges, but is available every morning in our adjacent restaurant. The M1 motorway is easily accessible, as are the Birmingham,Luton and East Midlands airports.Travel Plaza is perfectly located for Rockingham Speedway only 8 miles away and the F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone which is a 40 minutes drive away. If it is pleasure that brings you here why not visit a former royal Rockingham Castle and hunting lodge in Rockingham Forest which was a popular haunt of writer Charles Dickens, Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens or Althorp House, the resting place of Diana Princess of Wales where she was buried on the island in the Round Oval in 1997.

Route to Travel Plaza Hotel: 1. From A14 you can take junction 3 or 4. Junction 4 (B668) will take you through historic towns of Rothwell and Desborough. Go straight and we are just outside Desborough on your right side. Junction 3 will take you on A6 and take the second roundabout with a direction to Desborough and Rothwell (B576). 2. From Leicester you take A6 and take the roundabout towards Desborough and Rothwell (B576).
