Broomhead Farmhouse has been completely renovated to provide high quality B&B holiday accommodation. Dating back to the 1800 's this traditional farmhouse is nestled in the heart of the Whisky Trail just outside the village of Dufftown. Perfect for people who love the outdoors, the farmhouse has miles of woodland walks and historic Castles on its doorstep. The farmhouse has easy access to all amenities and shopping facilities in nearby Dufftown which is famous for being known as the heart of the Whisky Trail and is just a short drive to the stunning beaches of the Moray Coast. Dufftown offers all your local amenities including shops, post office, restaurants and bars and most important, the Whisky Distillers. Centrally placed, you can be exploring the Cairngorm National Park, countless whisky distilleries, Aberdeen, Inverness & Loch Ness, Castles and numerous golf courses effortlessly. A short drive away is the vibrant City of Elgin offering culture, museums and night life with plenty of restaurants and bars. The dolphin centre is located at Spey Bay, a perfect chance to take pictures and hopefully spot the local pods in the area. The Farmhouse has been totally refurbished to a high standard and offers 2 bedrooms, sleeping 2 in each room, total of 4 guest at any one time. The Glenfiddich View room has en-suite facilities and Balvenie View has its own private bathroom situation right outside the bedroom door. Glenfiddich View room has a king size bed and Balvenie View has a super king size bed which can be turned in to twin beds if required, just inform us before arrival to allow us time to change the configuration. A travel cot & high chair are available on request for those travelling with infants. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The B&B also offers a dinning room which has free view channels and a log burning stove. The garden with seating provides outstanding views of Dufftown and the hills beyond. The farmhouse also has private and secure parking for several vehicles.
