The City Inn dates from 1877 and is a former Coaching Inn, all our rooms are En Suite and recently refurbished. 5 fireplaces, original stone walls, beams and a Cornish Slate bar, make this a Proper Cornish Inn right in the heart of Truro city centre. There is a large car park across the road (Viaduct) and parking overnight is just £1.50, Truro train station is a 10 minute walk away and the Cathedral and City centre are just a 5 minute walk. We are close to both Courts and the Hall for Cornwall. The City Inn is close to both the A30 and the A390 for easy access to all of Cornwall

From Truro train station - turn left out of the station and travel down Richmond Hill At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Ferris Town Ferris Town turns slightly right and becomes Frances St Turn left onto Edward St Turn right onto Union St At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Pydar Street, walk up the hill towards the Viaduct and the City Inn is on the left ahead. From the A30- take the exit for Allet B3284, continue on the B3284 towards Truro and the City Inn is on your right as you enter Truro centre just before the Viaduct. From the A390 St Austell - follow the A390 towards Truro, when you enter the City centre, at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto St Austell St/B3284 Continue to follow B3284 Go across 1 mini roundabout, continue up the hill towards the Viaduct and the City Inn is on the left.
