Newly opened September 2014, Sleeperdorm is a 12 bedroom hotel offering rooms to accommodate from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10 guests. All rooms are en suite. FREE WIFI throughout the property. Guests have access to a TV lounge and kitchen area with microwave. Vending machines offering tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks. We offer a breakfast to go each morning via Reception. Completely Non Smoking, we offer an outdoor terrace for smoking and also storing of bicycles. If its a stop off on a trip, or for a night out in Newcastle we are a short 10/15 minute walk into town, offering a great selection of bars, restaurants, theatres, museums, art galleries, night clubs, shops. A visit to the Quayside to see the bridges and a stroll along the river. For the shopaholics the Metro Centre is only 4 miles away with many shops, restaurants, bars and cinema to keep you busy. Sleeperdorm staff and welcoming and friendly and here to make sure you have an enjoyable stay while with us. Safety deposit boxes and lockers are also available at reception. The hotel requires a £20.00 per person (refundable deposit) which will be refunded at the time of check out just to secure the damages.

DRIVING: From A1 come off at junction for A69 & A186. Follow A186 onto West Road and signed City West. Follow A186 over each mini roundabout, passing Campus for Ageing on your left, through traffic lights passing Bowling Alley on right. Going down the street you will see a church raised on the street on your left, at the following junction turn right into Elswick Row. Housing on both sides and a carpet shop at the end of street on the right. There is off street parking behind the shops and hotel. Sleeperdorm entrance round the front on Elswick Road. WALKING: From Central Station come out the front and turn left on to Westmoreland Road. Go over St James Boulevard, Dual carriageway and back into Westmoreland Road. At first round about continue over, and at second roundabout turn right into Rye Hill. Follow the road to the top, passing the fire station on your left. At the junction turn left into Elswick Road, and Sleeperdorm is directly across the road.
