Pucks Glen Lodges are authentic log cabins on a quiet site of 18 lodges. They are located at the foot of Pucks Glen, a magical woodland and waterfall walk, within the Argyll Forest Park. The area is easily accessible from Glasgow (1.5 hours) and offers wonderful highland, forest and loch views. It a great getaway to re-charge. Sleep 4 in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There is also a kitchen and dining area, lounge and bathroom. Perfect for couples, or with family and friends. There are lots of low-level and upland walks, the world famous Benmore Botanic Gardens is nearby and the Clyde Coast town of Dunoon is 10 mins drive. Local restaurants, country inns. For day trips visit Inveraray, Kilmartin, Oban, Loch Lomond, Glasgow and Glencoe. Bed Linen is provided, but bring your own towels, or hire them. Electricity is charged at cost. From Glasgow choose either to take the A82 towards Campbeltown - after 50 miles (over the Rest and Be Thankful) take the A815 towards. Dunoon. Pucks Glen Lodges are situated within the Lamont Lodges site on the left 1 mile beyond Benmore Botanic Gardens. Or choose the ferry route over the Clyde - take the M8 to Greenock and continue a further 6 miles along the A8 to Western Ferries. After a 20 minute ferry journey turn right for 3 miles to Sandbank, and turn right on to A815. After 2 miles pass Cot House Services on right. Continue along A815 for a further mile, passing Rashfield hamlet on left, Pucks Glen car park on right, then turn right into Lamont Lodges.
