Ty Castell Bed & Breakfast is located on the door step of the National Botanic Gardens of Wales in the heart of the Carmarthenshire countryside, in a small hamlet village called Nantgaredig just 4 miles from Carmarthen Town. Ideally situated with good road links for cross county explorations of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and beyond. Once a farmhouse on the banks of the River Towy, Ty Castell now a four star bed and breakfast opens its doors to weekenders, rural explorers, nature and garden admirers. West Wales boasts rich culture & heritage shaped through major periods in history. Explore narrow gauge railways, castles, caves and much more. With an abundance of activities and attractions all year round and for evening meals try the popular local Y Polyn public house which has two AA rosettes and is featured in the Good Food Guide. Also on the doorstep is the recently renovated Railway Inn Country pub serving bar/restaurant meals. Great value for money and within walking distance.

Directions from Carmarthen (A40) Travel along the A40 from Carmarthen following the signs to Llandeilo for four miles until the village of Nantgaredig cross roads. Turn right here onto Station Road. Proceed along Station Road for half a mile passing the school and Railway Inn on your right. Fifty yards past the Railway Inn take a sharp right hidden turn. Proceed along this road passing the Rugby club on the right and take the first left turn you come to, just before Glan-yr-Ynys farm gate. Ty-Castell is then a further 300 yards down the private lane on the left. (Please note that the property on the right or facing you known as The Folly is not owned by Ty Castell and the respective land is private to them so please come in through our gate and park up and proceed to reception. Please note that if you are using your satellite navigation system the post code SA32 7LQ ends on Station Road. You will need to look out for our signage and follow the lane down to the riverbank.
