It has been on the estate of several brewing companies including Matthew Brown, Burtonwood, Duttons, and now through a twenty year lease it is with your hosts Malcolm and Ann Rothwell. The Farmers is a truly family run pub,Andrew our son is the head chef. We all have a very important role to play. While still retaining it 's OLDE WORLDE charm, the Farmers continues to provide the very best of traditional cask ales and good hearty fayre.
