We are regular visitors to the Lakes: Keswick, Ambleside, Coniston, etc. This Lodge cannot be bettered. Make sure you know that like many places in the hills it is a steep gradient to the Lodge but GOOD access to all areas, and a good sized marked car park with an easily worked parking system in place. So close to town and steamers etc. but you have to face the short sharp climb up back. Our family AA 4-star guesthouse in Bowness-on-Windermere is ideal for singles, couples, and families.
