Cowclose Farm

Cowclose Farm is a 200 year old stone farmhouse, situated on the eastern edge of The Peak District National Park, Cowclose Farm enjoys a quiet, but not isolated location with beautiful views. We are near to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall (NT), Renishaw Hall and Gardens, Bolsover Castle (EH), Bakewell, Matlock, Chesterfield and Sheffield. There are Walks from the Door (with leaflets and maps tried and tested by us) and Peak District Walks to suit all interests and levels of fitness. Return to our local pub (The Gate Inn) for excellent food and hospitality. Our 2 guest bedrooms are spotless clean and well furnished with comfortable beds. Each has a generous hospitality tray plus TV/DVD. We welcome guests with complimentary tea and homemade cake on arrival. Our spacious guest lounge is at your disposal in the evenings. We have a prestigious Visit England Breakfast Award The inspector recognised the high standards of hospitality which we offer our guests and our wide selection of main courses, including some imaginative fish and vegetarian dishes. She commented on our use of local produce, including fruit and vegetables from our garden.
