Beechwood

Beechwood is a family run, superior bed and breakfast in Bowness in the Lake District and is a traditional Lakeland style 1900s house retaining many of its original features. Our rooms are individually decorated to suit the period in which the house was built and all home comforts are provided to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Beechwood boasts an elegant lounge where you can relax after a day 's activities by simply reading, having a go at our jigsaw or just unwinding with a glass of wine in front of the fire. The accommodation is ideally suited for exploring the Lake District and there are excellent transport links. Beechwood is a mere 10minute stroll from Lake Windermere and all local amenities such as shops, restaurants, bars and local attractions. You can travel by boat to Ambleside in the North or Lakeside to the South o take the island cruise around Windermere
