There are two restaurants to choose from the relaxed, understated Bay Brasserie and the magnificent surroundings and opulence of Doyle.'s At the front of the hotel is The Bay Lido - a beautiful sanctuary for couples, families, and the young at heart. Exclusive to hotel residents, this recently updated area incorporates a large outdoor pool, a selection of comfy loungers and a unique fire pit to warm you as the evenings draw in. Inside the hotel is the Haven Spa, where you can enjoy the finest Elemis treatments, a dip in the indoor pool or Jacuzzi, or you time in the steam room or sauna. For the more active there are two squash courts, tennis courts, pool, table tennis and snooker, as well as a nine hole golf course on the front lawns of the hotel. The hotel has been lovingly restored from the mid 1800,'s creating it 's unique and tranquil atmosphere. Road: From junction 27 on M5 take the third exit and follow signs for A361 to Barnstaple. Follow the signs for Ilfracombe. Take the dual carriageway to Braunton (note 50mph speed limit). Stay on A361 to Mullacott Cross roundabout, take the first exit and follow signs to Woolacombe. When you approach the 20mph speed limit into Woolacombe, take the first left and the Hotel is directly in front of you. Rail: Trains from the Midlands, Bristol and London Paddington to Tiverton Parkway, which is approximately one hour away. Taxi by prior arrangement. Helicopter: (By prior arrangement) on our lawns.
