Here at THE MEWS you will have a SUITE with your own private SITTING ROOM and double bedroom with bathroom en -suite with bath and shower. We cater for adults only. Both rooms have a FreeSat T.V and a DVD player. The sitting room has a fridge for your own use where fresh milk is provided daily. Your breakfast is served in your own sitting room at a time arranged with you. We pride ourselves on giving you a choice of locally sourced breakfast items, freshly cooked from a menu,and fresh fruit (which is different every day). All eggs are free range from a local farm. We love people to see this beautiful area in the way they want to and have walks, car routes, bus timetables and advice if needed. Although the accommodation is on the ground floor it is, unfortunately, not suitable for a wheel chair.

BY CAR Cross, or leave the M6 at Junction 36. This is 20 minutes from Windermere. On entering the village you will see The Windermere Hotel. Take the 2nd road to the left (at the end of the lay-by). This is Elleray Road. The Mews is 20 mts down with a burgundy and white sign. Please park under the sign parallel with the road. BUS OR TRAIN Cross the road at the Tourist Information Centre, walk down the main road (keeping the NatWest Bank on your LEFT. Turn left at the end of this block and you will see THE MEWS on the right.. (2 minutes) BY AIR if you arrive into Manchester Airport there are several trains a day from the airport to Windermere without needing to change. Follow directions from TRAIN above.
