From the M11: Exit at J8 and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit in the direction of A120 (E), in the direction of Colchester. Shortly after and at the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit to join the A120 (E). Follow the A120 to Braintree and after circling Braintree, take the 3rd exit when signposted at the roundabout onto Coggeshall Road (A120) in the direction of Colchester. Continue on the A120 and when signposted at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and then join the A12 in the direction of Ipswich and Colchester. Continue on the A12 ring road around Colchester and when signposted, exit the A12 and rejoin the A120 in the direction of Clacton and Harwich. Continue on the A120 to Harwich and after passing the Harwich and Dovercourt Golf Club, take the 4th Exit onto Parkeston Road into Harwich (Signposted Dovercourt and beach). At the mini roundabout at the end of Parkeston Road, turn left (1st exit onto Main Road. Continue down Main Road for approximately 750 metres and after passing the Nationwide and Halifax banks on the left, take the right turn at the crossroads onto Kingsway. Continue down Kingsway and at the end of the road, turn right onto Marine Parade. Continue down Marine Parade and the Hotel Continental can be found on the right hand side of the road.
