With an excellent position on the west cliff close to all amenities and attractions, the Esplanade Hotel is in a perfect place to relax and enjoy the jewel in the North Yorkshire coast. Our aim is to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. We also offer the services of our sea front restaurant The Quarterdeck which is a short walk from the Esplanade where guest can take a late breakfast from 9am until 11am hotel breakfast served from 8am until 9am ( included in room price ) All hotel residents can also claim a 10% discount when dining at The Quarterdeck during there stay.we offer free wi-fi and satellite TV in all our rooms. The Esplanade Hotel is a family friendly hotel and welcomes children of all ages. The Quarterdeck Restaurant is closed from mid November untill 23rd December 2013. Parking is a major problem in Whitby,The Esplanade has only 2 parking spaces which can be reserved at the cost of £5.00 per night ,on a first come first served basis. A none refundable £10.00 administration / deposit fee will be taken per booking, which will be deducted from final invoice.
