With its busy harbour, where the Scillonian ferry departs each day in the Summer months for the Isles of Scilly, cobbled streets, sub tropical gardens and promenade - the longest in Cornwall - the town boasts a feast of surprises with its history and culture. There are numerous arts and craft shops, museums and galleries, along with a vast range of restaurants and pubs, many providing local produce including fresh fish from Newlyn.
