The hotel restaurant is noted for its high quality cooking and imaginative dishes using local produce whenever possible. By Car Halkirk is 100 miles north of Inverness, just off the A9, 6 miles south of Thurso. By Rail Intercity to Inverness then take the Thurso train to Georgemas where the hotel courtesy car will meet visitors by arrangement. Motorail services are run from London, Bristol and Crewe to Inverness. By Air Scheduled air services connect to Wick from all parts of the UK via Aberdeen of Inverness.
