Café Valance bar and rooms is situated in the Newton road area. Walk through our front door and explore, you are surrounded by boutique shops, beauty salons & restaurants. The rear terrace overlooks historic Oystermouth Castle. Gower provides a superb natural backdrop with a host of outdoor activities including walking, cycling, riding, golfing and a host of watersports. You can also enjoy Magners League rugby and Premiership soccer from our regional sporting teams the Ospreys and Swans. Or if you enjoy a game of golf why not allow us to book you a tee time. There are a number of excellent courses on our doorstop and we are just an hour 's drive from the Celtic Manor home of the Ryder Cup in 2011. Meanwhile the city of Swansea is just 10 mins away providing extensive shopping, nightlife and national transport links. A 50% non-refundable deposit is taken on all bookings to reserve rooms. In the event of a non-arrival the entire reservation fee is taken.
