The Lighthouse Holiday Cottage is an exquisite 18th Century Fisherman 's Cottage situated in the heart of Scarborough, and accommodating 6 guests. Peacefully located on a quiet street in Scarboroughs historic Old Town, the cottage is very close to Scarborough Castle and has stunning views over the Harbour and the South Bay. It is equipped and furnished to a high standard throughout and blends modern comfort with heritage. The cottage is 2 minutes from the beach and quayside, 5 minutes from a huge choice of pubs, restaurants and amusements and the town centre. AVAILABLE TO BOOK FROM MAY 2013 There is a sheltered rear south-facing patio which is great for a BBQ or for sunbathing out of the cool sea breezes. The lounge has a 32 Digital flat screen TV and DVD player. The Ground Floor of the cottage contains 2 Sitting rooms, one with roof top views over the South Bay and the other has a double sofa bed for use by larger parties. Steep Winding Stairs lead to the Lower Ground Floor which has a well equipped Kitchen including Washer/Drier, Dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven and gas hob. The adjoining dining room has a large rustic pine table and an exit to rear patio and BBQ area. Winding Stairs again lead to the 1st Floor and large master bedroom with Kingsize bed and views over the harbour and south bay. Also on the 1st Floor is a modern shower and toilet room recently refitted to high standard and a further Double bedroom. Steep Winding Stairs lead to the 2nd Floor, with Twin bedroom with super views over South Bay, and a modern bathroom, recently refitted to a high standard with a bath, separate shower and toilet. A large walk-in wardrobe is also available. COUPLES AND FAMILIES ONLY. NO GROUPS. Sleeps Max 4 Adults/ 2 Children.

Cottage is located at the half way up the hill between the Scarborough Castle and the Harbour. Follow the signs to the Scarboroughs South bay take the sea front road to the Harbour. At the Harbour turn into the small road between the Princes Cafe and Newcastle Packet Pub. Follow the steep road up the hill towards the Castle. Half way up the hill turn left onto Longwestgate. Lighthouse Cottage is number 133 and is the second house on the left.
