Follow the A30 into Cornwall. At Chiverton Cross roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted to Redruth. After 5 minutes or so, take the 2nd exit slip road off the A30, which is signposted to Redruth, Portreath and Porthtowan. Look out for the brown sign to Cornish Gold at this junction! Go up the slip road and turn left to the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit to Portreath B3303 and Cornish Gold. Travel down the dual road and at the roundabout at the bottom, turn right to Portreath, then right again onto the B3303. Continue on this road for a couple of miles, past Cornish Gold and into the village of Portreath. Stay on the road through the village and past the beach on your right and continue up the hill out of the village and take the next road on your left to Pool and Illogan. Gwel an Mor is clearly sign-posted on the second drive on the left. Now start relaxing!
