Orocco Pier, a boutique Edinburgh Hotel only 20 minutes from the city centre. The awards and plaudits Orocco Pier continues to win are important but the real measure of our success is that customers keep coming back, whether for a quiet drink, an evening meal or to rest and recharge the batteries on a weekend break. Business clients also take advantage of Orocco Pier 's immediate access to the City and Edinburgh airport, or the industry and commerce of Fife and the Central belt. The hotel is a refreshing cocktail of contemporary metropolitan chic a choice of bar areas, a stylish dining restaurant, and a dedicated fully adaptable events space while the seventeen boutique bedrooms, outside decking and our waterfront terrace make the very most of the unique water 's edge setting in the heart of an historic village. On a relaxing sunny evening out on the decking and terrace areas watching the occasional estuary traffic, it 's easy to forget it 's only seven miles to the city centre of Edinburgh. With the cooking aromas teasing the senses, and the hum of conversation it 's little wonder that our customers stop for a while. At Orocco Pier excellence is the keyword. We pride ourselves in having attentive, professional, efficient staff. Throughout the year, our full programme of seasonal events promise the same hallmarks: high standards, excellent delivery and fun. Continuous improvement means that we will see further new developments as we expand to enhance the Orocco Pier experience. Dishes are contemporary, offering an excellent cross section of different styles and tastes to suit every occasion, appetite and palate. As you might expect, seafood is a prominent feature of our menus. From a romantic meal, formal celebration or business lunch to a quick, mouth-watering light bite, our food is prepared using the freshest and finest ingredients available to us by a kitchen team who have worked together for a number of years. It 's not just the ingredients that are fresh, we rewrite the menus every three months, just so that we can all enjoy and be inspired by the change and the chance to take advantage of seasonal produce. Prepared with the same zeal our wine list is extensive, aiming to perfectly complement our food with a selection of wines by the glass and an extensive cocktail choice.
