Overlooking Loch Goil in the Loch Lomond National Park this is a picture postcard setting. One hour north of Glasgow and two hours from Edinburgh. The hotel is part of the Drimsynie Estate which has lodges and holiday caravans surrounding the hotel, as well as an excellent leisure centre. This is not a quiet, hideaway location. Ideal for individuals or families looking for a nice location but a hotel with a leisure centre and entertainment. On offer is a swimming-pool, a sauna, Jacuzzi & Steam Room, indoor bowling, snooker table and so much more! The Estate and golf course hugs the shoreline at the north end of Loch Goil, a fjord type sea loch. You can sit on the hotel patio enjoying a drink or meal and watching the boats on the loch -a truly relaxing location! Should you be looking for something a bit more energetic, there is plenty to do. Choose from a number of marked walking trails starting just minutes from the hotel or in the village which take you onto the hills and tracks, or join in on our new Get Lively activities, which include Archery, WaterWalkers & Quad Biking. From Glasgow follow the A82 Loch Lomond road to Tarbet, continue on the A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful. Follow A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful where The Drimsynie Estate and Lochgoilhead are signposted. Turn left on to the B828 which becomes the B839. On approaching the village The Drimsynie Estate is signposted. The entrance is the 1st on the right. Follow the driveway by the golf course to reception. The nearest train station is Tarbet, Loch Lomond - 12 miles from Lochgoilhead. From Glasgow Airport follow signs for The Erskine Bridge and take the A82 Loch Lomond road to Tarbet, continue on the A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful. Follow A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful where The Drimsynie Estate and Lochgoilhead are signposted. Turn left on to the B828 which becomes the B839. On approaching the village The Drimsynie Estate is signposted. The entrance is the 1st on the right. Follow the driveway by the golf course to reception. Just over 1 hour from the airport.
