The Clive Restaurant is renowned for superb modern British cuisine and has been awarded two AA rosettes as well as an entry in the Michelin Guide. Emphasis is on the use of fresh local and almost everything served is made fresh in the restaurant kitchen. The bar and adjoining courtyard provides a comfortable area in which to enjoy local traditional ales, a wide range of wines by the glass and light snacks from the bar menu. Dating back to medieval times, Ludlow still features ancient walled sections, timber lined Tudor style buildings and the imposing Ludlow Castle. From the M54: Exit at J7 and continue on the A5 in the direction of Shrewsbury. At the roundabout take the 1st exit in the direction of Shrewsbury (A5) and Leominster (A49). At the next roundabout take the 1st exit to continue on the A5 and then take the 1st exit at the next roundabout to join the A49 (Hereford Rd). Follow the A489 for approximately 15 miles and shortly before reaching Ludlow, The Clive can be found on the left hand side of the road immediately after crossing the River Onny.
