Annie 's is just a few minutes walk from local recreation parks, beaches, shopping, restaurants, great night life and local transport links. South Shields is an ideal base to use while visiting the North East - the A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel are all just a few minutes drive away making County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Shields, Northumberland, South Shields, Sunderland and Tynemouth quick and easy to get to. Newcastle city centre is twenty minutes away by car and train, Gateshead is fifteen minutes away. South Shields is part of the frequent and rapid Tyne and Wear Metro (train) system, linking Gateshead, Newcastle, North Shields, South Shields, Sunderland and Tynemouth. We are just a few minutes walk from South Shields Metro station, South Shields bus station and the South Shields ferry terminal. Fluent in British Sign Language (BSL). All major debit and credit cards are accepted online, by telephone and in person. Normal check-in is from 3pm until 9pm. Outside of these hours by individual arrangement - please contact us directly to request this.
