For families, the major attraction is perhaps the sandy beach with its Blue Flag for cleanliness, with RNLI lifeguards on duty in the summer season. There 's also the 10m heated indoor swimming pool and the organised entertainment programme that helps to keep children occupied (and gives the adults time to enjoy themselves too). If rest and relaxation is your aim, you may be happy just sitting and wandering along t he beach. For Watersports, our Watersports Academy is on the doorstep. Here you may take courses or just hire the equipment you need. Finding us is easy. Below is a list of directions from London to the Sandbanks Hotel. M3 to Southampton. M27 (West) to Bournemouth. A31 through the forest. Past Ringwood, take the A338 to Bournemouth. Continue until the Cooper Dean flyover,over the next flyover, to the next roundabout. Straight on & then under the Richmond Hill flyover. At the next roundabout, straight on (2nd exit) to the Liverpool Victoria roundabout.2nd exit -follow signs to Sandbanks Ferry . Through Canford Cliffs Village. At the mini roundabout take the first exit left into Haven Road. Left on to Sandbanks Road (the sea will then be on your right). Continue slowly - Sandbanks Hotel is on your left.
