Playgolf Bournemouth is an attractive parkland golf course situated on the Christchurch, Bournemouth border. The River Stour runs through the golf course with players crossing the river via a bridge from the 12th to 13th holes. The course is an easy walk with the flat, generous fairways being cleverly protected by numerous bunkers and water hazards. The signature hole is the 9th- a 172 yard par 3 with bunkers guarding the right hand side and a huge lake snapping up any balls hit left. Be careful not to be too taken aback by the beauty of the lake and fountain as it will take a very well struck shot to find the putting surface on a well-designed hole that usually plays into the wind. The 18th also provides a great finish.
