The Club invites you to experience a golf course that is both a joy to the eye and a pleasure to play.


The course was designed by Peter McEvoy and he has described it as the best course he has designed. The undulating natural forested surroundings bring an outstanding quality to the course, with some of the finest putting surfaces, tees and fairways in Ireland.

Golf is changing in many ways with constantly evolving equipment and the modern player having a lot more strength, enabling the golfer to overpower many traditional courses. The New Forest course is designed to respond to the ever changing faces of golf. Strategy off-the-tee will be more rewarded than raw power. The Clubs main aim was to use the natural beauty that nature has afforded the New Forest Estate. Chestnut, Oak and Beech trees among others form the pure forested terrain, blending the course beautifully to highlight its natural design.
