The Brainchild of Local Businessman Bill Riddle, Remedy Oak opened its doors in May 2006.

Built within 256 acres of Ancient Woodland, the course provides a secluded and tranquil environment in which to enjoy your golfing experience. The design team included the Legendary John Jacobs and took 3 years to construct, being built to the highest specifications.

The name Remedy Oak stems from the healing powers long associated with the oak tree, which is situated half a mile from the front entrance. Legend states that The Boy King, King Edward VI who came to the throne at the age of nine, sat under this wonderful tree and ?_?_??touched for the Kings Evil.?_?_??

In the 6 years since opening, Remedy Oak has already established itself a place in the Top 100 golf courses in Great Britain and Ireland and a reputation as one of the premier courses on the south Coast.

Remedy Oak is proud to have been awarded the honour of hosting the Regional Qualifying tournament for the Open Championship from 2013 ?_?_̱ 2018.
