Lansdowne, designed by respected partnership of Peter Allis and Dave Thomas, hosted the Scottish Amateur Championship in 2013 and PGA Championship Final in 2014, is a true championship course and a fine test of golf. It offers a more challenging test routed through swathes of pine and silver birch trees, putting a premium on accuracy from the tee. With smaller greens than its older neighbour, the Lansdowne championship course provides a challenging but pleasurable test for all levels of golfer. Designed by the respected partnership Peter Allis and Dave Thomas, it was officially opened in 1979.
Designed by James Braid with influences from Dr. Alistair McKenzie, the renowned architect of the Augusta National course, Rosemount has played host to a number of prestigious professional and amateur tournaments. The more forgiving fairways are compensated with larger and more undulating greens than its younger neighbour, giving the golfer a testing but rewarding challenge.
The Wee Course layout is heathland in character, comprising of par 3’s and par 4’s it provides a delightful and charming contrast to Lansdowne and Rosemount. It is perfect for a warm-up round or for golfers just starting out. Formed part of the original layout designed by Dr. Alistair McKenzie of Augusta National and Cypress Point fame.
