A typical Surrey rolling parkland course. The Old Course is not overly long by today's standards at 6479 yards, it is nonetheless a thoroughly enjoyable track. The smooth greens are extremely quick and have some treacherous borrows which often deceive even the low handicap golfer. Opened in 1907, it has retained its charm with some of the original features blending well with recent course changes, which have ensured today's longer hitters are still well tested.
This remarkable championship course opened in 2001. Its large, fast greens are well protected by strategic bunkering, not to mention a number of water hazards including the River Mole which meanders through the course. At just under 7000 yards from the back tees, it doesn't lack for length. The par 3 18th is the feature hole - played over the River Mole in front of the beautiful clubhouse is the feature hole that can jangle the nerves of the most experienced of golfers.
